John provides assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based therapy for a range of psychological problems, and meets the high standards set by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). In collaboration with patients, he works to understand more deeply the current difficulties they face, and to find more flexible, creative and effective ways to manage them. Utilising cognitive, behavioural, and mindfulness based approaches, a therapeutic plan is developed to assist patients to find more contentment in their intimate relationships and worklife, and ultimately, to find a more enduring sense of wellbeing within oneself.
John has completed specialist training in couples therapy and has extensive experience in working with same-sex couples.
John provides group and individual clinical supervision to psychologists and other health professionals.
